November 2014, Jordan and I took a long weekend trip to this beautiful, mountainous area to see the Biltmore Plantation. I've never seen anything quite like it! The quaint town is filled with creativity and liveliness, much like the people. Jordan and I tend to find little places where the ambiance is just right (the sports are on TV) and come back repeatedly just because it makes us feel like locals. We loved Pack's Tavern for our hangout spot and Tupelo Honey Cafe for breakfast. This town is perfect for a fall/winter getaway in the mountains even if you don't visit the Biltmore (but I highly suggest you do!). Photos below!
